Modern Vespa

I was checking my rear pads and doing a gear oil change.

I took off the rear wheel. I would like too know if I have to put some sort of oil/ grease on the spleen (don't know the name) that the wheel goes on..

I'm attaching a pic to view...

At the same time how much rear brake shoe do I have left...

I always grease the thread, just multi-purpose grease is fine. Ensure you torque up properly and refit the split pin.

Plenty of meat left on the brake shoes.
