My tail light for my '79 p125 popped off when I stupidly hit a pot hole and shattered underneath the tires of a car behind me. I have a vespa shop close to my house but they have either a European style or an American style. I tried Googling the styles but both pages show the same style of lights. Plus their price starts at $50-$100. Can someone show me the dif types of the two lights please? Thanks so much for helping.

The style in your photo is period correct for your American bike. You can install a European type, but you will have to drill holes in the frame to do that. Also I'm pretty sure your rack only works with the American style taillight.
Try www.scoot.net classifieds there are always some american ones for sale up there. If you just want to replace the plastic lens part, I may have one that I'll send you for the cost of shipping. It's not pretty but it will do the job. |

There's also this variation of the European ones which I prefer.

50 Special lights are the coolest for a P.. but you'll have to do a little electrical work in the light.

my seat
My seat took like 5 weekends to finish since its all leather broken down into 4 pieces with leather stitching and staining and water proofing. It looks old and rough and I love the fact that it looks imperfect and have gotten comments because of that. I could've bought a leather seat cover but I take pride in the fact that I made it and it was the first time I've ever worked with leather. Plus I'm tired of cheap ass vinyl cracking on me. My vespa isn't supposed to look brand new. It looks like a battle tank and for being 35 yrs old I love its look.
