Yesterday in upstate NY it was a beautiful spring day with Temperatures reaching into the 80's. Went for a nice 150 mile ride, the kind where you just get lost until you need a gas station. Had my mesh jacket on with a tshirt underneath. It was all to good to be true though. It was only raining and mild when I went to the movies tonight around 7:30. When I got out it was another story. My car was covered in snow and it dropped to 29. Got home to find "Vader" covered in snow also. Talk about a tease. Back to hibernation mode for another week I guess.

Same thing here in Chicagoland. Snow has melted but still back to being too cold for me to commute. Hoping for better weather this weekend!

'twas like that here in central Pa yesterday morning as well but by 4pm it was 45 and spitting snow. Went to below 30 over night, today's high predicted to be no higher than 50.
At least we're not getting the 'plow able' snow they're saying the upper mid west is....

Really hoping it warms up 2 weeks from Friday when I leave from Albany for Stroudsburg, PA for the Whiskey Dick 3 Rally. Gonna be a long cold ride if it doesn't.

F when i was in China a few years ago they were talking about the bad sand storms that were hitting Beijing, Had a small one while i was there. Seems like it's coming from Mongolia. They've turned that into a dust bowl and scientists say it can't be recovered. The desert is getting closer to Beijing. Guess we reap what we sow as they say. Sucks that the rest of the world has to suffer.

Yesterday morning the windchill was 8F. I put on a balaclava and off to work i went.

Today...it's snowing. I will suffer nearly any cold, but I can't bring myself to risk sleet/ice/snow.
