The PM engine is going really well. Should get through the initial running in point going to Whitby rally this weekend. First gear doesn't get that far really, but into 2nd, 3rd and 4th and really feel the 26 horses pulling. Haven't maxed it out but it will happily sit at 60-65 mph with throttle to spare, so suits me fine. I'm not the type to be screaming it everywhere anyway. I'm taking it down to Manchester (Mike Phoenix Scooters) in June to have a 12 ltr long range tank and vacuum pump set up fitted, as just now it will run out of fuel at just below quarter tank due to the height of the new carb not being gravity fed quick enough. Also having a pair of BGM Pro adjustable shocks installed at the same time. Cheers......... |
