Modern Vespa

I recently purchased a used 2011 Vespa-- It only had one ignition key and no top box key. Has anyone had experience trying to order new keys for both? How long would it normally take?

ignition key is simple, contact jimh and send him your key he will cut you a new 1 or 2. Best there is. I highly recommend getting 2 additional.

top box key you should be able to get a new key and lock set from a dealer and just replace.

Also I believe MV sponsor AF1 Racing http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/default.asp can do them too. Have not had a key made by them myself but they are a solid shop.

I'll 3rd JimH. You'll have your key back in a week. That includes you sending it, him copying it and then sending back. Can't beat that.

I sent him a PM and he's already replied--thanks for all of the help! I also just ordered the replacements for top box from AF1.
