Modern Vespa

I've been plotting a build for quite some time, and am just getting around to making the commitment to buying parts. I know there is more to an engine than top end, crank and carb, but those are the three areas I'm focusing on first. My biggest obstacle right now is choosing the proper manifold set up. I don't know much about the proper components from the case to the carb when it comes to performance reed set ups. I'd assume the standard Stella style reed block wont cut it. I'm planning on 28-30mm range. I see that SIP sells a "redacted" manifold, and they also got this that they are proud of...

Just the type of stuff I was looking for. I like the price and simplicity of that MRP manifold. Its going to be a long while before the whole thing is built, but I'm selling one of my bikes to help fund the project. Plus I can't justify with the wife having 4 scoots.
