Feeling silly-- I purchased my used Vespa and the dealer hasn't produced a key for top box. (OEM) I ordered a new lock and key from AF1 but I am not sure how to remove the current lock. What's the easiest / cheapest way with the least damage to box?

Drive out the hinge pins using a large nail with the point filed off. Reach in and push the locking lever to the side to unlock it.
You can also back out the locking nut and remove the tumbler. See if you can sent to JimH and have tumbler key's to match you ignition key.
I had this done and it's really convenient.
