Honestly, I don't think this is a design improvement. I think the front end here is nowhere near as sharp and bad-a** as the 500's we all have. But thanks for sharing. I do like the back. Would be interested to see if there are any changes to the instrument panel.

Yes, front track has increased from 420mm to 465mm which allows us in most of Europe to ride on a car licence and not have to do a bike test.
Not necessarily a good plan.................. |

There is an MP3 LT 500 Sport, which is as frcx94 posted, but there is also a new Gilera Fuoco 500 due which will also be an LT (wide track) version.

So, the new MP3 has ABS brakes? Very nice since that addresses a major issue lots of folks on this website complain about. Is ASR traction control? Also, are any questions feel the lights LED or HID?
How is the performance and fuel consumption? |

So how about the new seat? Has Piaggio finally figured out how to put a comfortable seat on the MP3? Is the bolster for the drivers seat adjustable?

What to order?
Hello MP3 fans.
The new 2014 Model 500 After seeing this PDF flyer......... WOW I like to go for it. I talked with my dealer to make an agreement. They can order the bike as I like to have with my possible options. They will use it Max 1 year or 10.000 km's, what comes first and than I trade in my old one for a fixed price. It's for them very nice since they always will have a demo bike available and I will have a very good discount and still warranty period after as well. I only doubt what options I should choose and like to have your opinion and the why. This I can consider with my ideas to have for me the BEST MP3/500 1 a must 2 a nice extra 3 not needed 4 what do you like to have as accessory connected or extra installed by the dealer. I think Strebel horn or break light flasher or ?? Please help me out ....... check perhaps their nice link about the new. Thanks in advance. ![]() |

I would get
1. The Tunnel Bag 2. GPS/Multimedia bracket kit 3. The Alarm You will notice that I haven't suggested a top case which I always think look ugly. The back end seems to be based upon the x10. One of the accessories you can get for the x10 is an inner for the top box that can be used as a saddle bag where the rear passenger sits. If you look at http://www.piaggiox10.co.uk/accessories.html you will see what i mean regarding the top box inner. I love this bike as well and have been in contact with my local dealer about it - we are waiting for price details. |
