Gilera is also releasing the new Fuoco 500. I really wish they would make a model that combines the front of the gilera and the back of the piaggio (with piaggio color options). That would be sweet.

Looks like the seat doesn't slope down anymore. The best improvement!

Than I can survive with this 2011 model and ask Maksor to change in a tear the backside and seat in a 2015 transformation 😃.

Just got my MP3 new about 8 weeks ago and truly enjoying the whole experience. Added heated grips and the Givi Airflow AF5601 from Maksor, (thanks mate, great service). Have to admit I'm a little disappointed with myself on timing with the purchase, should have done my home work.

I'm sure the larger front wheels would improve the ride but I'm not sure ABS/ASR is needed. I think I'd run it in normal and not ECO so I'm not clear if there would be an improvement in fuel economy. Smoother running and quicker pickup would always be nice though.

Neither of the above reviews seem to make direct comparisons with the original which is what I'd like to know. I'm sure that's coming. I also presume the Yourban will stick around.

I'm guessing we will all see the Yourban with the 350 engine next year. That is the one I am expecting will come to the States to give us a new MP3.

wish I'd had ASR yesterday!!

I pulled into a small cutout on a single track road in the south of england to let a car pass. It was a bit muddy and wet where the tree canopy had kept it in the shade. As I pulled out my mp3 spun nearly 180deg unexpectedly and I *so very nearly* dropped the bike. I've really badly strained my wrist as a result of holding it up.. :/

Unique situation no doubt (it's not *really* an adventure bike, despite my continuing attempts to have some good adventures on it!!) but it shows where these things could come in handy..

Don't hold your breath on that one seeing that this bike is no where near a European release, if they make it at all.
Honestly, I see us more of a chance getting the new MP3 than the Yourban...
I guess we will see soon enough...

USA no way, perhaps some grey import because of you special fuel evap etc.

Hi Everyone.....Keep in mind that Piaggio really doesn't give a crap about the USA sales. Love my red/black MP3 500 now 1 yr old. With that said, I went to my Phoenix RideNow dealer today and they checked with rep who said he was told that we in USA may have new 2015 model with ABS and traction by year end.

Ya right! Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Found a 2009 Black MP3 500 with 2400 miles and mint with Givi Windshield and Topbox for $5000 plus tax...might pick it up for an extra.

Just returned from Maui after a 2 1/2mo visit. only 4 MP3's on island including my sisters MP3 400. Great place to ride in Upcountry.

Piaggio's brochure on the new MP3 claims is has more overall storage space, more usable storage space under the seat since they got rid of the passthrough area into the trunk. The picture that frcx94 posted from the brochure seems to validate that assertion...

IMO the Gen3 grill is a big improvement over the Gen2.
