Does any know if you can fit an Akropovic exhaust in conjunction with side crash bars? I have a GTV 250. I don't want to order anything only for it not to fit due to the sticky outy bars near my stock exhaust. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What crash bars do you have? Can you post a pic of your current set up?

I have the Akra on my GTS, and it cleaned up that area quite a bit (in addition to dropping about 8 lbs), but I do not have crash bars. I ride with folks that have crash bars and after market exhaust (but not the Akra), so my initial thought is there should be no issue.

Someone with your exact set-up + Akra should be along with a definitive.

You'll love the exhaust.

Thanks. Here is a pic. I was looking into the Akra one as it seems to have good reviews on here, so fingers crossed it will still fit.

Crash bars

The bars might be slightly different, but you can see that they work with the Akra.

Oh crap. Just realised it's the wrong side of the scoot and I don't have one of t'other side. Hopefully someone will see the bars and know.

No Problem. Sometimes I find that a Google search for the scooter topic I'm interested in will bring up the exact Modern Vespa thread(s) I'm looking for better then the MV topic search function.

Keep us updated on your exhaust upgrade and post photos when you completed the install.

It was a google search that brought me to MV and I instantly joined as it's a very informative and friendly community. I have added a few more bits to the scoot since that photo, so one the exhaust is added I'll upload pics. Thanks again.

If those bars don't drop any lower than the bottom of the side panels, you should be fine with an Akra, which sits as low or lower than the OEM exhaust. Here's a pic I found with bars fitted that look even lower than yours...
