Hiya,

I am in the process of cleaning my centre stand. I have removed the springs and nut but am struggling to remove the actual bolt.

This may be a silly question but should it just pull out once the nut is removed or are there threads in part of the inner housing?

The bolt turns freely enough so it is not rusted but when I turn it I cannot see it removing.......do i need to break out the hammer and give it a clonk from the nut side?

thanks

Lee

Not too familiar with that particular mount, but I have a suggestion:

Before clonking on the threaded end of the bolt, loosely thread the nut back on. It'll protect the thread of the bolt from near-miss damage or deformation should the bolt decide not to move.
