Among new mods: wrapping, fuzzy washer, dr pulley, belt ... here's my new lights.

Led high lighting - led dash turn signals-to alert me blinker is on - led back of helmet lighting to alert drivers behind me I am stopped or turning a certain direction...

The Bug is turning into a hot flashing Italian Stallion when the lights go out. Too fun....

Going to enter my Italian Stallion in a bike rally contest- this coming weekend...my first ever. Can't wait to attend... think I'll do their downtown parade of bikes as well... its all in fun and entertaining the town folks ....

Wish me luck! Ohhh not on winning - luck that ... I don't DROP the sucker at the rally-parade in front of everyone ...omg.

Special thanks for all you great posters on the- how to's ... they really work. My beast - the stallion - has become a real pleasure to ride... wahooo

I've gotta ask, how did you accomplish the back of helmet lighting and sync it to the signals and brakes?

I too am curious about the back of helmet lighting, please tell us how you did it and what components you used.

I urge you to not think about dropping the bike. I learned very early on in my riding career that if I allowed fear into my mind, the bike would wobble and nearly caused me to dump it just thinking about it.

Wireless LED Helmet Lighting
Hi ya'll.
I took the bike to get the last of it's lights hooked up. Jerry lined the top box in white lights behind the red portion of my top box.

On the helmet I asked him and he said he hooked up the wiring in the back side panels and wiring from the back brake lights and back blinkers. One wire went to the left side of the bike and all the other wires he hooked from the right side below the grill area.

Below r some photos of the bike top box and the helmet where the left blinker was activated... and the brake light activated...it uses regular AAA batteries... I bought the helmet lighting from Amazon.com

I have one of these and highly recommend it. Pretty easy to install and drivers seem to really like it.

Hello LiR,
I like the lightning in the top box even more.
Is that a standard connection or home made?

Hi Andre... the top box lighting is white led lighting installed inside the box by my mechanic... I'll take a shot of the inside and update this post when I get home. I have been having some busy school days (work @ school for kids is always crazy) and some awesome riding days when off.. sorry I have not answered sooner.

Looks sick!!!

Any chance that you took some photos of the work as it was being done? I'm installing the lights soon, too.

First I want to say this helmet looks fantastic, I like this idea very much, but personally I will not mount anything like that to my head. If anything happens (an accident) my head is too precious, and this "thing" on the helmet could make additional damage when hit. No CE certification, no tests, I do not trust in all these cheap Chinese inventions.
