Is there any audible or mechanical performance symptom that reflects a need for roller replacement on my MP3 400?

You'll get much better performance by replacing the rollers with Dr Pulley sliders. That's a given.

Fuzzy Washer & Foot Pegs
Hi guys,
I'm brand new to the forums and I just purchased a 2009 MP3 400 yesterday. I am already in love with it and I'm really glad that I didn't buy the 2014 Triumph Speedmaster I was looking at. While riding yesterday, I instantly noticed a shudder between 0 to 20 mph. I started searching for answers and found MV. I am very grateful for all of the info provided here by members. Based on said info, I have already ordered two sets of Dr Pulley sliders (15g & 16g) which should be here in a few days. I have two questions for you guys: 1) Are the fuzzy washers still available for purchase somewhere? 2) Does anyone know where I can buy a set of quality foot pegs? I am 6'1" and 230 lbs.and I noticed right away that I slide forward on the seat while riding. I have a 2013 Zuma 125 that I was able to find highway bars for, and they changed my life. It's now an absolute joy to ride. I am planning on riding my MP3 to work daily and it's 126 miles round trip. Having some pegs to strech my legs and also help me stay in position on the seat will make the difference between riding it everyday and leaving it in the garage. |

Fuzzy washers are 1mm thick washers that go on the driving pulley; stock standard stuff. I have one or two if you like I can send it (I'll need to verify it is correct ID/OD for MP3 400 first).
Highway pegs, contact (PM) Old As Dirt. He's having some peg mounts made for the MP3 500, and may have suggestion for you about your scoot. |

Which Dr Pulley sliding rollers?
When I'm on the Dr Pulley website and search for my MP3 500 scooter, I'm given a list of 7 pulley weights to choose from. I'm having trouble knowing which sliders to purchase. Please help me select the correct sliding rollers for my 2009 Piaggio MP3-500. Thanks!
