So there really are windmills in Holland.
It looks like it would be a bit cramped for me but if it works for you then cool. You could also use the built in mic to do commentary while you ride. Nice fabrication. |

I also think its a very interesting approach. but if you fall face forward with your helmet, it can be dangerous to the face ! , a rather preferred external fixation, for your safety ! there are cheap adhesive attachments to the gopro.

Mine is mounted on the brake reservoir cover.
The cover does need some reinforcement or else the camera will pull it off. My solution was to zip tie the cover down. |

(a little paranoid) Now that I have the bars of a 500 on my 400. Clamp to the bars. I seriously hated the plastic around the 400s bars. |

Yeah I thought it was really cool when I first saw it too. I may try it for the fall gathering.

Will be interested in your results LLC. I was thinking about mounting on the top case. I know that won't get 360 degree shots because I will be in the way but it may give some cool perspectives.

Rhino Cameras make this kind of mount. You can see it in some of the shots in this vid.
loulouclub, the music in the vid you posted was catchy in that 80's hairband kind of way. It made me nostalgic for the 80's |

A good result. Looks like you got the balance just right. I do think the camera needs to be a little further away. Maybe 10 to 20 cm might do it. Or does the gopro allow a change in zoom? May zoom out a bit.
I have a gopro but haven't messed the the setting much. Overall though it looks good. Have you got a picture of the finished rig you used in the video? |
