Hello,
I am going to fabricate a short run of exact reproduction stainless leg shield trims and am gauging serious interest. I believe I can produce them for roughly $100.00 US per set. The grub screws and stampings will be correct as will gauge finish and nickel content. This is not a business venture, I've been searching for a set for years and they are almost impossible to find.

I had a similar issue with the SS180 cowl louvers years ago and produced them as well. I have a small quantity of the louvers left.

The ones in the ad are aftermarket, the stainless steel ULMA ones were original, and are the unfindable ones.

I can vouch the he is meticulous about his understanding of what these parts are supposed to look like. He is, as I am, frustrated by not being able to find decent sets for our bikes.

Maybe it would be a good idea to post this on the Yahoo Groups page which is specifically for the GS and SS models. I think you would get more than enough interest. These and the short supply of them have been well discussed in the past.
