Modern Vespa

As many of you know, I have been plagued with No Post Mode Specified advisories for over a year. I can post from work without issue, but at home, 99% of the time I can't get on.

I have tried many experiments over the months with mixed results. However, I believe I have found a solution, although I can't explain it.

I have found that if I go into Safe Mode in Firefox which will open the browser without any add-ons. Then, I usually can post and it will take on the first try.

The thing that baffles me is that if I manually go into my options and disable all the add-ons, it doesn't work...I still can't post.

So, I don't know what the difference is, but automatic Safe Mode works while manual Safe-Mode doesn't.

I am in automatic Safe Mode now and will attempt to post. I am open to all suggestions.

Sounds like you have a hidden add-on, probably the kind that nobody really wants. The kind that will replace all banners with other advertising. I've seen those come with free software.
