Now.. here's a genuine mystery

My mp3 stalls in one spot, and one spot only. It's this one stop sign few miles from my house. I ride the scooter everywhere but it never stalls. But it stalls at this one particular stop sign. Or rather, it stalls just as I'm accelerating past this stop sign. I'm starting to think there is some weird woo-woo voodoo thing going on here. Why would my scoot stall in this one spot??

I looked for anything that's different about it. And there really isn't. I'm attaching a pic of the intersection from Google street view. Any thoughts?

easy. there is a sign on the road that says STOP. so your scooter obeys and stops. Part of the ECU brains I'm sure. Razz emoticon it just knows.

It may be less that particular spot and more that that is the spot that you get to where the bike hits a certain temp while warming up. I have had the bike hesitate on me in roughly the same spot as I start my commute in colder weather. My assumption is that it is less about any voodoo on "that spot" and more about the bike hits a certain spot in its warming up cycle about the time that I reach that particular spot each day. If your bike is dying at that spot when you come back through it on the way home, it may be voodoo however.

I'd avoid the X.

Every RoadRunner cartoon ever produced shows that to be the spot that Wily E. Coyote lands on below the cliff..

It's just unlucky...

Yeah I think this is most likely. When I leave in the morning mine will stall at an intersection about a mile and a half from my house. Not everyday and it is usually worse on colder mornings.
