In all seriousness, St. George was born within walking distance of my company's headquarters (and Israel's main international airport) in Lod (Lydda, back in his day).

Judging by the number of flags you see here every year, I'd say he's still considered a pretty big deal by the locals.

What have I done...

All of my family PROUDLY celebrate St Georges Day, always have, always will. I am proud of my country, its heritage, its language, its beautiful countryside and many many other things.

I just wanted to send you guys a happy message just like I did at Christmas and (for some of you) on your birthdays.
