I installed heated grips on my mp3 and since then have had the glue just melt or stop adhering. I used the handlebar glue to attach them on but over time noticed my right grip was spinning freely from the throttle. Has anyone else had this issue with heated grips and glue? Is there another type of glue I should use instead?
Don't have heated grips but I also found that the grip glue released after a week on some after market grips I installed on the throttle side. After cleaning things up with alcohol I used a superglue gel. That was 7 months ago and the grip is still holding strong. I believe it was jimc's recommendation.
