Neat post Terry (better than Hammy ) and way better than the usual one with that kind of soundtrack, if you get my drift. Top marks for ingenuity, bravery, stupidity even?! But sure some driving skills. The guys are all barefoot. Curious to know how they did the wheel switch when presumably both lefts wheel are spinning under drive (4x4)? How would you get wheel bolts back into their hub holes on a spinning wheel?!

The bit that scared me most is when the guy on the front sticks his foot into the wheel arch,,,,,definitely toilet paper time just watching him do that

I've seen a motorcycle display team do this with a side car. The passenger changed the wheel while the rider kept the bike pitched over on one side. Same trick, and all the more impressive since they were circling around a bumpy grass field instead of driving along miles of flat tarmac.

Good to see you on Ironfoot - any plans for more Doublegood goodies? New T shirt design for summer maybe? 8) |

Hi BB, no new tricks but I'm still here, still riding . The GTS needed a sprag clutch/freewheel rebuild recently but is otherwise running well. Approaching 35K miles and just passed another MOT.
I'm trying to remember where I saw the side car wheel-change stunt... I think it may have been at the Classic Motorcycle Show at Beaumanor Hall a few years back. |
