Has anyone installed the plastic top case for a Piaggio BV350

Are you fitting the piaggio BV topbox or after market topbox ?

I fitted a smaller piaggio topbox from my gilera runner ST200 using the givi rack plate .

Yes, I installed a Piaggio brand top case. What's the problem?

Be very precise about the length, orientation and location of each bolt, spacer, washer, and nut. They may LOOK like they fit, but if in the wrong place, won't work. Just go very slowly, one step at a time, paying close attention to the (barely adequate) diagram. It took me an hour and a half of assembling and disassembling the first time. By my third time, it took just 10 minutes.

I purchased the Piaggio 36 litre luggage box. The direction are very vague.
It looks like I have to remove the plate on the luggage rack with a screw driver. Then install the heavy metal plate under the luggage rack.
Now the assembly packet gave me two large heavy barrel type "bolts"
I do not see these bolts listed in the directions?????

Those are replacement ends for the handlebars. They replace the plastic ones to reduce shaking and wobbling caused by the topcase moving the center of gravity.

I saw a YouTube comparison of two sizes of top boxes they sell for the BV 350 and thought it had a pretty good overview of the installation. Of course I don't have one (yet?) so factor that in. Seems like a pretty fine ride for backroad touring and getaway weekends. Maybe ok for longer trips too?
