Iv'e been kicking it since i collected it ! then goggling starter problems and checking the fuse, and cleaning the connections.............. Silly me

Ha! Everyone's done that at one time or another. It's a rite of passage. Good
for you for diving in to the problem and getting your hands dirty. I once tore a washing machine apart because it would not run. Put it back together to find out that all I needed to to is close the lid which trips a switch to let it run. Fun afternoon. Welcome.
