After wanting one for 10+ years I finally managed to buy a beautiful
LX 150 in mint condition....in black to match my Ducati.
The ride home was about 35 minutes but it only took about 10 minutes to
get comfortable to the different riding position and "twitchy" steering of the small tires.
It has a nice power band and I was surprised by how good the suspension is.
I have one huge smile on my face.

How do you feel about the automatic versus manual shift? I used to have a Bonneville, but I really prefer the automatic. Even though you don't have to Think about every shift, it's taking up some of your cognitive reserve. I feel like the automatic allows you to be more "in the moment."

Congratulations on your beautiful black Vespa. Before getting my own Vespa, I was under the impression that others, like myself, who rode motorcycles thought a helmet might increase the chance for protecting the brain in case of a crash. Now, I am beginning to see that the helmet serves primarily as my best chance for hiding that ridiculous facial spasm that refuses to behave with any kind of social discretion whenever I twist the throttle.
