I've always wanted a GTS in black. All of our bikes are disturbingly NOT black....

I can't say my purchase started as window shopping and I left with a scoot like JDNEPA.
I had gotten a settlement from a car accident and while trying to think of what to do with the money scooter popped into my head. Dragged my husband to the dealership and had my deposit on it before the ink dried on the settlement check. If I had thought it through more I would have saved the money to put to responsible things which is why I made sure I did it quickly before my head to catch up with my heart.

GRAHAM i don't know but the forum gave him such grief he probably never wanted to come back on. I think he sold them. Wish i could remember his forum name. He was a trip. I do believe he had a yacht as well. Too much money and nothing to do.

Well if you had all the money in the world, why not buy a bunch of scoots? Makes logical sense to me!!

Good idea. Then buy the PX that's in the background of your picture, which you should have bought in the first place.

Nice color.
Spray the indicators clear orange and it will look way better. Tamiya TS-73 plastic spray.
I did it to my orange super and looks very 70's.

Yes, my first Vespa. I had been wanting one for a while, then I went over to a friend's house about 6 years ago and he had a Fly 50. The next day I called to say where did you buy that again? Two hours later I called him back and he answered simply, "what did you buy?" It was an LX 50. Then came the motorcycle course, then came the GTV, then came the urge to shift, then came the PX.

GTS300 Super Sport purchased Saturday was delivered this afternoon. Drove it 30 miles. I love it!! I actually like the ride...console up top... seat... all more than my GTV. Go figure. Very happy with my spontaneous purchase so far. ....I even decided to drive her into work tomorrow.

I have spontaneously bot a large sized hot fudge sundae with nuts, whipped cream and a cherry on top, after a two hour scooter ride in ice rain. Spontaneous!

Congrats on your new addition. Nearly the same thing happened to me. A meeting I was attending ended early so I had a few minutes to kill before I had to leave town (Asheville NC). I strolled into a BMW/Vespa dealership to check out the new BMW scooter when I spied, for the first time, a Matte Black GTS. I swear it winked at me, I had never been so smitten so quickly with anything in my life. I gave them a $100.00 to hold it and two days later I was driving it home. To soften the blow I assured my wife, who already had a Vespa, that I'd sell my Reflex to help finance it. A GTS is on of the sexiest things on 2 wheels. It is so sexy even my fat ass on it doesn't detract from its looks.

hey lad you only live once, i deceided to buy my 300 several months ago and went and did it, been throough the big motorcycles, had a vespa in college in pgh in the late 60s. i deceided i wanted to try another one. hey life is too short.been to mountain top pa many times . enjoy
