Newbie here. I have been working on restoring my 1965 Sears Allstate and have had continuous issues. Long story short, I have spark, a new carb, good compression, all the things necessary for a running scooter. I think. There where issues with the petcock, tap was jammed frozen by gunk and age, so I replaced the petcock and cleaned tank, replaced fuel line. I am not sure if the line is too short and giving the gravity a little trouble, but bike will not run, as if fuel starved. When I look into carb when filter is off and kick start, a drip comes from that just - kind of like flicking a drop of water off your finger. There is no spray. Problem is I am not familiar with what it should look like so I have no frame of reference. Before I pull tank again and possibly change the line, does anyone have video, picture or even just a good description of what spray or flow should look like?

Many thanks in advance.

Dave

If the float bowl is full, then fuel flow from the tap (even if insufficient for continuous running) is not an issue with starting.

Make sure jets are clean. I trust you are using the choke. Did you try to "Bump Start" it by getting it moving at a reasonable speed and then letting out the clutch?
