Hello...

I have a 2006 Vespa LX 150 and the seat lock slides completely out when I pull out the key after opening the lock. A minor inconvenience but I'd rather fix it now. I know the circlip that holds it in place is missing.

When I purchased the Vespa used, the circlip was already missing on the seat. Can someone take a picture of circlip and how it looks installed and also tell me how I can find the missing circlip.

I'd appreciate anyone's help. Thanks!

Aloha and welcome to the forum from Hawaii. You might check Motorsport Scooters. They have everything. If you don't see it on their web site give them a call. I have to do a ride with errands today but maybe when i stop i can snap a pic for you

No, not asking too much, but it'll take someone with an LX and the time and patience to take a picture and post it.

I don't see it as a separate item in the parts list, but you could do worse than phone Scooterwest to ask their advice. They may even have one lying about in their "You name it" drawer.

So a bent paper-clip might do the job just fine.

Indeed. Flat one side, half moon on the other. Or browse your local hardware store for something similar.

Thanks! I tried a paper clip but didn't know how to shape it to get it in there!! So half circle one side straight on the other. Thanks for the tip!
