Well, a few rides on the new ride and all is well. Just to make sure, and because I shall not have the time later this summer when a thesis needs writing, the 10k check is to come soon.
Things I added, or intend to...
A few flower and wasp decals just to make it mine. A Coocase on the back, and a holder to keep the rear carrier down - the ties simply did not hold. As I note this item has come up before, I found it at San Jose Vespa - it is called a Vespa Luggage Rack Clamp. And some serious reflectors for the Coocase, the type you sometimes see on 18-wheelers.
A 12 volt electrical outlet and a "Screamin' Banshee" horn will be added - the horn is loud and it is small enough to fit with only three connections - and you retain use of the normal horn.
To keep it safe, a disk break lock with a "reminder" cord. It makes a very loud noise when disturbed.
I took off the front carrier that came with the scooter - I simply could not see using it when the back seat and rear carrier were available.
An armoured jacket - Rocket Ballistic Revolution - (where do they get these names?) and overpants also armoured. The helmet was a delight. I really like the Bell Vortex and this was a bargain. Order it in purple and it goes for about $269. Order it in black and sliver, and it is discounted to $69.95. Naturally, I went for the black and silver. Gloves from Icon, and I am after some used hand covers for cold days. Today it was gloomy and cold - just a bit above forty F. and my hands got cold quickly.
I also located an organizer for the glove box. Maybe.
Decided against the "performance" exhausts after reading the comments here - maybe look again when the muffler needs replacing. I met a fellow rider at a coffee shop today who has mounted some cool lights, aimed slightly to each side for deer, moose, and stupid drivers, but don't plan on riding much at night. If I do, replace the bulbs as a first step...

I also have a Coocase.... V36 model. Can you post some pics with the reflectors that you got for yours? I ended up using 2 metal hose clamps to hold the rear rack down. Seems to be holding up just fine so far.
I would like to paint mine to match my Vespa, but I didn't want to part with the $250. I want to modify it with lights, but haven't done that yet either.

You have probably seen very bright reflectors on large trucks and such. This is 3M's Reflecltive Diamond Grade Tape. I got some in red and simply cut it to size and applied it over the reflectors on the Coocase (where lights would go if they were installed). This stuff is so bright - it catches the smallest light and stands out vividly. I think they are actually better than lights - the stuff is simply so very bright and easy to use.
My Coocase is the small model - but big enough for almost anything I might wish to carry. I also got fabric saddlebags on sale for $10 or so to use when necessary - in purple (the black model was much higher in price).

Now, festooned with the flower decals (not the Vespa ones, but the same if much less expensive) Pandora seems to be a hit locally. My librarian spotted me out on the road as did several of her friends. I like the 60s look, very mod.
