I think my regulator is not working. I'm not getting any charge at the battery.
The 30amp fuse is good.
As it happens I have a new regulator from a 300 Yourban but the wiring is different(as are the connectors but they can be changed)
They both have the 3 yellow wires from the alternator but the MP3 has 4 output wires basically 2 pairs.
The Yourban one has only 2 but they are much heavier.
Can anyone tell me if I could splice the 2 pairs together to make a single pair??
or what is the reason for having 4 output wires??
thanks

Yes, you can splice two into one - which is done internally in the old regulator. They just used two wires in parallel so they could use the thinner wire (cost?).

That's great thanks for that.
It seemed a waste to buy a new 250 one when I have a perfectly good regulator already
