Modern Vespa

Hi I thought I'd visit Brighton this coming May Bank Holiday. It'll be traditional. Fisticuffs with some Rockers, winkles, candy floss, stick of rock, knock a policeman's hat off, a kiss me quick hat and the dodgems.
Thought I'd leave west London 10ish. First stop at Rykas cafe in Boxhill for a cuppa. About 11am. Usually there's a few scooters there amongst the bikers and cyclists.
Leave at 11.45. and head South, through Dorking, down the A24, then before the coast hang a left on the A263, to Shoreham and approach Brighton by the coast rd, A27.. Usually try to park on the lower beach front road, about 200 metres to the east of the pier next to the Volks bar. That's where usually scooterists hang out. Sometimes this is closed off because of some othe rfunctio, so may have to forage another parking spot. But will take my leisure with walk along the pier, and have a snack and drink to the west of the pier, by the fishing museum. Maybe a walk into town to visit Jump the Gun near the Lanes. Then 4 ish head back to London Town.
