The recently introduced Vespa Primavera has been such a success that there's a legitimate concern it might overshadow the Vespa GTS 300, especially now that Piaggio has finished honing the livelier Sprint edition. So Vespa has re-focused on the GTS to improve its image, performance, and versatility.

Looks good. I'm hoping the front suspension addresses the wobble as it was the main reason i sold my 300. If they fixed the issue i'm going to reconsider getting one. The other improvements are also good but too me the front suspension is the biggest issue.

What do you guys think ? Will this be the end of the wobble ?

The end of the wobble lies with a correct tire pressure ratio between front and rear tires. My GTS has no wobble unless I remove my hands from the bars at under 15-20 MPH.

On the topic of the GTS 300. I have one, I love it, though I kitted it and customized it. Its really more of a show/rally bike now. I would definitely pick up this new one when it comes out if only to keep the engine stock, maybe do a few aesthetic mods and call it a day.

Tech with the upmost of respect taking your hands off the handle bars at 15- 20 mph or at any legal speed there is no way the wheel should shake. It is a design engineering issue. I had a 300, new out of the box, the shake was evident almost immediately and especially after installing the top box.

I still hope the new 300 addresses this issue.

I also suspect its a design issue, nothing less and dont think its gonna be gone till a completely new frame-stamping has been produced. This likely wont take place till a new, as in completely different (330cc?) engine replaces the Quasar series engine.

For the sake of argument I can get my BV350 into a mild wobble just as easily as my GTS...

I picked up a nice People S250 recently to compliment my GT200. Guess what? There is a subtle wobble on decel around 15-20mph. Not as noticeable as the Vespa. Perhaps it is dampened some by the 16in wheels vs 12's.
Had I not known about this quirk of the large frame V, I too would have been put off and regretted the purchase.
Back on topic...while on a group ride Sunday, one chap had a fresh used GT300. Very nice. It might be a bit quicker than the Kymco which is very comparable to my GT200. 8)

Firstly, I'm not sure I've ever had a bike save teh MP3 500 that hasn't wobbled a little on deceleration if you decided to take your hands off the bars.

secondarily, no one's commenting on the new sexy dash? its' sexy. hawt.
