hi, last month i sold my LX190ie and change to primavera. i do love the shape of primavera but i do miss my LX performance. standard primavera only last less than 1 month and i put polini ecu.. i hope to get more performance but polini ecu only give little power gain..

after install polini max power increase from 8,9hp to 9,5hp.. i can feel the difference but its not good enough for me..

my friend know local exhaust maker who make exhaust for racing, so i contact him to make me exhaust for my vespa..
after 4 trial and error, finally he found correct design for max the standard engine..

i am very happy with the result.. max power increase from 9,5hp to 11,4hp

now i must tune the cvt because my mechanic said that curly powerband at the middle caused by bad cvt tuning... (i still use stock cvt, only lighter roller)

Me too have been disappointed of the Primavera so far. Stronger bottom end than LX 150 but then it loses oomph. Sure, mine only has 50 miles (80 km) but don't think after break-in it's gonna be that much faster. Very nice looking pipe on yours!

im interested in exhaust for my gts 150ie 3v as well..

if i may ask where about the exhaust maker located??

i live in south jakarta.

did he made the exhaust pipe as well??
i'm having trouble finding workshop who can fabricate exhaust pipe that good.

recently i try to fit an akrapovic exhaust on my gts but the kit actually for sprint and primavera

so i end up canceling it because the fitting issues..

hi knutte, i believe after break in it will not be much different.. you can try to change the coil with higher voltage, it makes primavera feels much more responsive..

dhan,
you can try rx8 exhaust.. maybe it need new mounting bracket but its easy to make..

@fashionstyle,
i believe GPR is a good exhaust but its not available yet in my country.. the price also much higher than my local made exhaust which cost only about 100 euro...

jeepsycho
my primavera topspeed can get about 120km/h.. after performance upgrade the topspeed didnt change but the power at low end and middle increase alot...

Where you able to tune the CVT to get a better power band?? Also, when you tuned the Polini ECU were you able to tune the air fuel ratio?

It seems that the Polini ECU may have more adjustability than the Malossi Force Master 2. I'm impressed that you got 11+hp with the tuning and pipe and without the aid of a cylinder kit.

after a few cvt tune, i discovered that the spring rate of cvt spring gives big difference in powerband beside the variator roller..

i tune the polini ecu to get good AFR, and yes polini has better setting than malossi. malossi is much easier to tuned but polini more accurate..

custom exhaust do give much more power but it compensate with much louder sound compared with remus or akra..

Hi All,
Rashid from Malaysia.

Currently using Primavera 150 i-Get.

Just installed the Akra exhaust (Akrapovic S-VE125R2-HZBL).

Wanted to buy and install the Polini ECU, but I found out there is no version for i-Get engine, just for 3v ie.

Anybody did a custom install that ECU into any iGet machine?

If you didnt boreup the engine i think lambda manipulator will be enough to tune new exhaust.. it much cheaper than polini ecu, here in indonesia the loca brand make the ecu manipulator for less than $20 and it work well with aftermarket exhaust..

But polini ecu have tons of setting you can play with and its fun!

Hello greeting from Indonesia.

I want to ask to TS or everyone who comment in this thread.
If we want to change the exhaust type, we must install a piggyback on our ECU?

I get an info about the ECU that if we remove the battery and leave it for a minutes and install it again, it will resetting the ECU setting. Is it true? Or maybe someone can give some experience or advice about resetting the ECU.

Thanks in advance.
Have a good day.

To reset, simply:
- Disconnect batterty, take out negative terminal first, then positive. For reconnecting, do the reverse.
- Meanwhile, disconnect the electrical sockets of the fuel injector, and the CDI.
- Leave them disconnected overnight (24 hrs)
- Sleep
- Connect the CDI, connect the fuel injector socket, connect the battery (follow procedure positive then negative)
- Turn on switch snd leave it ON for 1 MINUTE , the CDI is resetting everything.
- Start the ignition without using the throttle. KEEP the engine running idle on center stand for at least 8 minutes up to 12 minutes, without ever interfering the resetting process. Never use the throttle until done. The fuel/air mixture must be read and reset by the CDI.
- Do the resetting in a well ventilated area.
- Ride it like you love it!
