Because I have already been interested in such a conversion, I am also very interested in the topic.

How will you solve the problem of the timing chain tensioner on the horizontal cylinder? The cylinders of the master-engines have the timing chain tensioner on one side only and for the horizontal cylinder on the GP engine thus on the wrong side? (GP cylinder have on both sides the opportunity to install the timing chain tensioner).

Greetings Markus

Hi Maksor,

Don't want to hijack the thread as i am very interested in the outcome, but looking at the pictures, do you think the 493cc cylinder will fit a master 460cc engine?

I know the 460 and 493 differ in bore and stroke, but i'd love some more torque on my Beverly

Best regards,
Otto

yes it will fit maybe we need to machine a 5mm off on the bottom off the cylinderwall but then you will gain 20cc

the 460 is a 458.7cc the 492.7 with a stroke of 69 becomes a 478.9

on a GP800 you will gain 140cc
