Have 2006 BV250, What mileage should I expect on original belt?
Am 88 years old, so ride kind of easy.

Straight off, I'd recommend changing it just because of age, regardless of mileage.

However, to further answer your question, you should confidently expect an original 250 belt to last 8,000 miles, and it should actually last more than 12,000. I had 15,000 miles on my X9 250 original belt - I only changed it because I was about to go on a 2,000 mile overseas trip through France, with full-bore riding in prospect. It showed only a hint of being a well-used belt. Mark you, the scooter wasn't even a year old by then.
