Where can i buy a bag of 10mm cht gauge plug rings (to fit onto cylinder stud) for the sip/koso speedo - cheaply? Like, without also having to buy the small sensor lead that would not even fit the sip speedo)
Ive bought some before but can't remember/find where from?!

I got some from a Motorcycle shop and the package said 10mm but the ones inside were 14's for the spark plug.. they wouldn't take em back because the package was correct! Lame..

So I called KOSO direct, told a nice woman there the story and she sent me some..

If you can't find them elsewhere, try contacting KOSO.. I dealt with KOSO USA, maybe they have a UK office?

this place has everything but you should make sure you gauge and there parts can work together...??

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/menus/in/probesandsenders_cht.html

I was told by the instructions of my kits that the lead wires (CHT or EGT) can not be shortened or altered in anyway since the gauges are calibrated by length.

The CHT probe I bought is for the spark plug. There are different sizes for other applications as you know.

German efficiency ......
I literally just emailed Koso asking if they sell the rings seperately.
Within 2 minutes the answer came back - "sorry, no".
I guess i'm shocked at the speed of their reply as it's bank holiday here!

Ralf at Koso also suggested the rings brake because there is -
"big vibration - please check the connector".
I guess ill have to buy the short sensor cable that comes with spare rings.
