A Vespa named Froggie...

This is me on my girlfriend's not-red ET4. It was love at first sight for my girlfriend as she's obsessed with seafoam green. She's riding it 6 miles each way to grad school, and is toughening up in the cold that has arrived here in Boston.

It earned the nickname of Froggie after it survived a flooded downpour on Storrow drive like a champ. There was probably 6-in to a foot of standing water in the right lane, maybe 3-4 in our lane. The cars going by us in the right lane kicked up a wall of water that hit me hard in the chest. My girlfriend was on the back and had a serious freakout, but Froggie didn't flinch, and got us home safe, but wet.

I am a longtime motorcyclist, but this thing is bringing me around to scooters, though I dot' like some of the Italian engineering I've been seeing as I do maintenance on it...
