I only got in at ten to midnight myself, as Kate kindly invited me in for a restorative hot chocolate. Journey home via the Blackwall Tunnel was a bit parky, but much faster than the inbound leg. Passenger very relaxed

It must have been pretty parky overnight as there was a white hard frost here this morning. Shame Piaggio dropped the outside temp sensor from the 300 after the 250 had it. Need to trace down my whirry sound in the CVT now which has taken the edge off the bling bling shinyness of refitting the powdercoating cover. Add to the jobs list then...

Oxford have just brought out a tracker unit - it costs £200 to buy and about £60 a year for the subscription. More expensive than the cell phone option but it's a sealed unit with a ten year battery life and can be concealed anywhere on the scooter - it's about the size of an electric toothbrush.

If it's that big, it's easy for the crims to find.

Was great to dine and chat with everyone last night and, more importantly, meet more Skoks. Spent the day before arriving at dinner at Blechley Park, which was perfect preparation for the evening. Ardy, Candi and I were actually able to decipher what Bill Dog was saying!

Now we need to schedule a group thingie on Paros.

Great evening meeting some old faces and some new ones as well. Really good company the only problem was I couldn't speak to everyone! Al it was a pleasure to meet you and Ardy and Candy-You are a very lucky man. I posted the picture I took on the original thread if anyone wants to have a peep.

Terrible irony that Charles had an attempted theft on his GTS on Saturday but then I guess that was the point. Charles also posted a couple of other threads on security, if you search by members, then his posts.

My little Gobby cat is under the weather he's been poorly since Saturday evening. I suspect he's eaten something disagreeable - he got a very late tea on Saturday night and probably went out to find something on his own. Off to the vet with him. The other two are getting their annual jabs later this week so it's going to be a rather expensive few days

Took your advice. Did the Transportation Museum, got my Chinese fix in Chinatown and finished up at the London Eye.

Tomorrow will walk over to Fuller's for a tour, late lunch at the pub there and off for home on a 10:15 PM.

Little Gobboo is back to his normal cheeky self - he was out on patrol this morning, dove straight into his breakfast dish, and is now sitting on my lap purring. He's also taking advantage of his 'in recovery' status to insist that he needs more of his (really expensive organic) wet food to build up his strength.

Yes, we both enjoyed the museum. Lots of amazing stuff.

Oh, and I corrected Foster's to Fullers as today's fun. Ms Candi popped the cork on a second bottle of bubbly with dinner and my typing skills suffered proportionately.

If you go to Fullers, the pub nearest the brewery is unusual in that it has two names (depending on which room you're in).

It's also unusual in being one of the few pubs that regularly serves Chiswick Ale (an excellent low-alcohol lunchtime pint).

The food is better in the other pub, the one right on the roundabout. And a walk around Hogarth's House will clear the head afterwards.

I washed mine on Saturday, then rode in the rain on Sunday, so that was a bit pointless

So while I was visiting a Mercedes Benz dealership a few days ago a storm blew up and a CCTV camera mast broke off its base and landed on the bonnet and roof of an S - Class.

Tried hard not to laugh.

Arrived home at 08:05 AM to a downpour

Guy in a big wooden boat was saying, "OK, now, let's be orderly. Get on board two by two.

On the way to work this morning I saw a young chap had just put his brand new Ducati Diavel into the back of a minicab.
It was a mess. So was the minicab.
He was crying by the side of the road. Looked uninjured.
And looking at his gear (all sparkling new) I think he may have recently passed his test.
