Okay - can you break it down for us?

What is it that you get when you pay for it, regarding this scooter.

Seems to be pretty stylish but it's only a 125? So for me, that makes it a big old, "Meh".

But tell us all the finer points, because I will only ride one in my dreams!

Not trying to argue, but I can imagine a Genuine Buddy rider saying the same thing about a Vespa. I'd say that it's the equivalent of owning a Poetic Complications watch versus a $500 Seiko; both tell time, but one looks f'ing awesome while doing it.

Man, I'd be scared sh*tless that your ladder buckles and knocks into one of those purty cowlings.

Wow you sound excited with them. I would be too if I were you. I would need to have a podium for it and NEVER ride it with my crash record. How does it compare with the lesser Vespas as far as insurance?

Oh yeah. I guess it was the zip-ties holding it together that threw me off.

By lesser you're strictly talking dollars right?

More depth break down as requested by Belkwinith
#1 Breaking----------No hesitation with stopping, Smoooooth, The ABS really makes a difference. Way more confidence on quick stops.

#2 Suspension--------Absorbs most of the road bumbs in the lower center, which makes the bike feel more solid.

#3 Just to give the heads up on the ones that don't know, It has 12" rims and also disc breaks on the back (like the 250 & 300's).

#4 Another nice feature is the one push elec. starter. Just tap it and it starts on it's own.

#5 ASR traction control is another nice extra to have if you loose traction at any time. It's like a braking device that slows down the rotation due from skid outs. No one wants the bike to slip out from under them do from loose gravel or debris around turns.

#6 Quick response on take off!! Hard to believe it's only a 150
But I still haven't full throttled it cause I'm still braking it in

#7 With the new 3V- 4 stroke engine. All scheduled maintenance is done 1/2 as often as the other Vespa!! A real plus for saving some $$$

That's about all I have time for now. Heading to the gym with my honey or should I say Honey's

Oh and for Shebalba's comment:

No worries my friend, The ramp is secured at the nose of it. It's hard to see in the pic. and since I couldn't buy just one ramp. Having two ramps actually made it much easier to off load the bikes. The zip ties are strong and a perfect tool. I have around 20 of those holding it together. No problem!

As for which ones faster Znomit. My wife's white one might be because she's 30 lbs. lighter than me..

#6: the take off is decent; 2T PX 150makes it more spectacular, adrenalinier, wheelier:)
The suspension is well balanced, I am really impressed. It is good for small potholes, sharp turns, wind gusts.
It is predictable bike: it turns by itself, adjust CVT by itself. It makes you less hooligan. I had the same feeling when I jumped from Volvo v50 with sport suspension to Xc70. Therefore I use both bikes equally: 946 is good for bad weather, is good for darkness- the headlamp is amazingly bright, it is good for relaxed ride, it's good in many aspects. PX is a different breed, it is easier to throw it in the tight turn, it is a pleasure to change gears, to adjust suspension , to do maintenance and any kind of customizing. It is like sporty car versus limousine where 946 is limousine.
