Hi,
My Fuoco ( MP3 500 ) won't start.
Alarm is ok
Seat button works
when i put my key in and switch to "on" nothing happens ( no warning lights, no horn, just black )
I checked the fuses near the battery and it's ok

What could be the problem ? i guess it's electricity....
Since the alarm is ok i guess it is not a battery issue

Thanks

Is the kill-switch OK?

What, exactly, does the immobiliser LED do when you turn the key on? (number and duration of flashes if any, and does the LED stay ON or OFF)

Can you hear the fuel pump prime?

Do your brake lights work?

I can jump start it with cables ( connected to a car )
but once cables are disconnected and i try to ride it it immediately dies
So starter is ok
probably the battery is ok as well

i jump started it and waited with cables connected to the car battery for 15 min. disconnected the cables and waited for 10 more min ( with engine running ). as soon as i try to ride it will die...

any ideas ?

So it does start - but not with your battery.

I doubt it...

I suspect your battery isn't being charged, or has died - check the 'hidden fuse' as Maksor suggested. Check the battery condition, and check it's being charged by the bike.

Hidden fuse is ok
It took me 40 min to take the "hidden" fuse out.
Hidden fuse is ok

I don't have a voltmeter so i'll probably tow the scooter to the shop.

Thanks for all the help

I bought a multimeter
i bought a multimeter ( for 10$ as you said )
Connected the cables to the car and started up the fuoco.
while cables connected to the car and revs are at 4k rpm voltage is higher then 13
While cables disconnected from car and revs at idle voltage is 13 ( 12.9 - 13.1 )
While cables disconnected from car i can't go to 4k rpm since it will die as soon as i try to rev up.

So, what's the verdict ? ( battery is dead or something else )

Although you probably have a duff battery, it may well be something else as well, which may either have contributed to the battery's demise or be coincidental. Let us know how it behaves with a new battery - and don't forget to ensure it's fully charged before first use, as you need those cells to equalise.
