Modern Vespa

With the tools of modern technology (reading glasses and high intensity
light) I found the separation and now its all sorted.

Finally...it's been on the screen for a few days, just takes time to get it photographed and sent!

We've secretly commandeered a bulletin board that hasn't been used since the last Shuttle launch. I've printed the pics you submitted and put them on the board. It's making for a great conversation piece.

If you want a better/print quality image, let me now and I'll send you one. I made that one pretty low res in consideration of MV bandwidth.

We're trying to make the finished photos about the size of a large post card. A stronger image can be sent to me via private email which is linked on my profile.

But, we'd like others to post on the thread also for us to all enjoy.

Wow, never thought so many of you would have wanted this sticker. I just mailed the 300th sticker to Portugal (aquila07)!

Wow, thought this project would be completed by now and this thread retired, but... Will be making prints from new posts. Our bulletin board will be updated in a few days. Eventually they will be part of a collage in a museum. Have received lots of PM's, more pic's coming soon. Thanks for the kudos. Been lots of work. But, well worth the conversations with other MV members. Hopefully more will be sent out. Kind of ironic that these won't be ending up on hard hats locally. But, on scooters all over the world. Now I think that's cool! Miguel, found a few more of these stickers from a friend. So, expect one in your mail box in a couple days.

First, a major 'shout out' of thanks and much more to Flordian aka Bob for his generosity in making the stickers available to MVers - and also for sending me one! It has just one on a spot of honor on the rear wheel fender of my new (to me) Aprilia Scarabeo 200 - and it's hard to find words to express just how insanely cool it looks, or how it enhances the overall vibe of my scooter.

On the theory that a picture is worth a thousand words, I'm enclosing one of the Pad Rats on my Scarabeo taken just moments ago -

MUCHAS GRACIAS Bob - you ARE the man - and, along the same lines, the Pad Rats ARE the Rats!!!

A Pad Rats sticker now graces my new Hi-Vis Orange Nolan N44 helmet - and since the helmet already looked a little like an old fighter pilot helm - which in turn was a precursor of astronaut headgear - the sticker is very appropriate.

Dremmeled the base of my hula to fit the top of glovebox so she doesn't lean forward, found my roadrunner magnet....and gave ratpad a home next to all of them....

Thanks for the sticker, no picture but I will tell you the tale of the sticker.

I received the sticker where upon i opened it and admired it, my computer guru was over so I showed it to him, he geeked all over due to the coolness factor.

Enter the cause of this story, my son who has Down syndrome. He came to where I opened it and wanted his lunch, as I was a tad tardy getting it due to the arrival of my sticker. I placed it on the table and proceeded to fix his lunch.

After he was done, he left the table as i cleaned up the dishes and put away his cup. Now he is a quick little critter, and I did not know that the sticker had been spotted and filched. I found it after he had it for about 20 minutes, it was stuck partially to his pants and had been slid on and is very scratched, I have tried to salvage it and hope to have what is left on my scooter today.

Share this with your coworkers, and have a laugh on me.
