Modern Vespa

I came across this sign near Pike Market in Seattle where I typically park the scoot. Apparently somebody does not appreciate scooters or bikes less than 500cc's taking up their space.

I promptly removed the sign and parked the MP3 anyway.

I'd worry that someone who's enough of a jerk to post that sign would vandalize your bike.

I would have left it, retrieved some white out, and changed it to "50 cc and up."

Why would a business owner even put something like up other than to just be a jerk? I would have made a point to go in, do some shopping, put all the items on the counter and then let him/her know that this is what I would have bought from him if not for that rude sign. Then I would walk out.... twerking.

Would have wrote a polite sign on your windshield stating "Piaggio MP3 500 (as in 500cc)" and left that sign alone

Hey, Seattle_JC, are you the one I see riding around on a maroon MP3? Besides myself, I've seen a couple of other MP3s around Seattle. Just curious. Mine's the standard red.

Especially when a lot of PTWs have a range of different engine sizes in the same chassis.
