My Piaggio's 500 Sport is black and red.
My question, is Red Dragon the name of the color red?

I think they technically called it Dragon Red, not Red Dragon, for what it's worth. However, I don't know if going into a paint store and asking for Dragon Red paint will guarantee a match in any way, shape, or form.

I don't even know if the panels are actually painted, per se. It seems to be more of plastic coating over the plastic panel to me. However, in my humble opinion, your better bet is probably to take each of your red panels off and have them repainted professionally, use a spray paint color of your choice on them, or go with a vinyl wrap. A number of threads on these options have come up over the past year or two that I have been on the forum.

Forgot to add that if you have a 2010 version, the red may be "Passion Red" according to PiaggioUSA's website. The Dragon Red was more muted versus the Passion Red which is VERY red.

Manufacture plateon my Piaggio MP3 500 shows 2009 and registration shows it as a 2010.
Will do some more checking
