No actual vespa work but I did built a bench. Now my Allstate is at a good working height.

tried to fix my horn on my 1975 Primavera (see horn post that has all my questions).

3 things I added to my homemade work bench were a 2 X 4 chock for the front wheel, eyebolts and adjustable straps to hold the headset and finally added castor wheels to the 4x4's.

The stability from the wheel chock and straps have saved my ass more times than I can count and the castor wheels make it easy to wheel the bench around for storage or to point the project bike out my garage so I dont smoke myself out.

where did you get that lighted Vespa sign? I think I need it for our garage. v

Wheel chock, eyebolts and straps are a great idea. I have casters on the back legs so I can lift the front and roll it around.

I wish I had a garage like yours. I'm working out of a shed.

Found the sign on craigslist of all places. Old scooter guy was cleaning house so I got it for cheap. I wired it into my garage lights so it'll turn on anytime I go into the garage.

Buying a house with an attached garage was the best thing I ever did. I spend more time in there than I can ever spend watching TV.

cleaned me right hand sterling zorst n fitted it to the bull. ...... it needs a bracket making so i nipped over to me father outlaws to make one ..... burnt out his drill bits .... plus side it now pulls like a train ..... gonna sort it tomorrow hopefully at work

Went for a quick test with my newly rebuilt motor (built and run-in by th mighty El Ginchi), just got back to th driveway, and motor stopped...
Upon further investigation, bottom ring snapped and ended up in th exhaust ...
Ohh well!

bodged up a bracket ... me mate said my idea was shit .... harsh ..... so I did it his way .... gonna have to keep an eye on it though ..... least I can carry a spare now

The Bad - I got pulled over riding to work. 34mph in a 20.

The Good - Cop normally rides PTW's and was fascinated by the handlebar shift. Had never seen one before. We shot the the shit about bikes for a good ten minutes. Gave me a warning and a wave and no ticket.

SSR. I was on my bike. fack!  rode home through a swarm of bees.  I saw it as it was comig up. lowered my head  so that i was hitting the swarm with the crowm of my helmet.  i heard them hit my  chest but nothing stuck.  i rode about 1/2 mile down ....BOOM three effin bees right inner thigh where it meets the seat.  STUNG!  bastards! oh well theybare dead now. I wonder if it would have happen if Ihad legshields . Damn! Score one for scooter.

I had a friend who had a bee go down her jacket... started stinging... got down to her bra before she got rid of it.

I was doing the mountain backroads a few weeks ago near the gaff and I saw a wasp walking along the inside of my visor. Fucking blood ran cold. Dropped the anchor and launchedmy helmet into the grass verge. Those yellow and black Bastards sting you just for the craic

once got to work pulled me lid off n a wasp fell out ..... didnt even know it was in there .... lucky me

on another .... rode home n got in the shower with a pencil behind me lug .... me hair was long n the pencil was short
