Ha, fucking' British Gas. Who'd Id like to point out must have no call centre anywhere in the UK took some of it, and then MBNA had the rest. Its OK, its in hand, I am just biding my time. Part of me is keeping one eye on the "scooter selling" pages on facebook/ebay etc for my T5, the other is just slowly waiting to see if my PPI letters come back..I heard some lovely stories about PPI and I had a 45 APR Loans when I was 18. All paid off now, but they confirmed PPI just waiting on a result to see if I'm owed anything.

Never had one whilst riding but I used to work as a tree lopper and got attacked a few times. Not much fun when you're hanging off a rope up a tree holding a chainsaw. Once I was cutting away and saw a Huntsman spider run up my arm, across my face and into my helmet. I had to finish cutting before I could lower the chainsaw and take my lid off and flick it away. Good times.

I aint doing much Scooter Bollox at the moment, just sorted my shed out, found some bits and bobs. No chrome in there though!

I went out to run a few errands, first time I'd had the VBB out in a couple weeks, found that the front brake had completely seized up.

After I got home, I pulled the front wheel and hub off, found that both the actuator arm was frozen up and that the shoes were frozen in place on their pivot.

Tried to work some grease into things, but broke a brake shoe instead messing with it, so I'll get to replace the front brakes when new parts arrive.

I need to grease the front wheel bearings, too, I suspect. That'll give me something to do next weekend.

In the meantime, I put it all back together and didn't tell the wife that the scoot has no front brakes. It'll be fine around the neighborhood, not that I'll probably ride it before the new parts arrive.

Was yesterday at Retro-moteur, Ciney Belgium and found some nice spotlights, one for the PX and one for the Bajaj. They are Marchal 612 and only 45EUR.
Got some enamel plates for the garage wall too.

holy fuck! I was just riding and the bike all of a sudden was totally bogging out!

I'd just changed the gear oil, and needle and idle jet in the carb, so I thought something got wanked..

Took carb apart, cleaned it, replaced the needle, swapped back to the idle jet and needle I had earlier and no love..

Tried another carb, no love, so I went to the logical place.. The reeds.. totally blown up!

I put a brand new set of reeds I had in my carb spares in, and holy F! My P is scary scary fast.. Fastest I've ever ridden and responsive as he'll! I'm still shaking after a test ride up the street. it's frightening!

They must have been going down hill for a while, because my last rebuild and cylinder work was a bit underwhelming.. But I didn't check the reeds..

I had it up to 89 riding w/ Jimmy the other day and it took longer than expected to get there.. It was still climbing with plenty of room to go, but I was running out of street..

I'm going back there this weekend and gonna fly!

oh happy days! Tomorrow I'll swap the reeds is the Super and I expect great things there too.. Last I check them they were fraying at the corners, I won't be surprised if they're pretty bad off.

we park at the same time but Imam the one ride in red is a funny guy he like to look different so he park it the other way around so people will notice his bike more and he didnt want to have bussiness with the other blue vespa's thats of course just for the laugh in fact he is such a nice and solid friend next time i will be riding the yellow one just to make Imam upset since my yellow vbb will surely gonna replace his red super charisma

My pleasure. Actually, our does too. It rains a lot and the humidity is always hovering around 90%. I keep the surface well oiled.
