Over the last couple of months I've been trying to organise a scooter track day at a go kart track. I only found one that will let them on, most of them didn't want to even think about it.
We only got 7 takers in the end, quite a few were put off that it wasn't covered by insurance etc etc... not so many people are willing to take responsibilty for themselves these days. Anyhow it's on in about 39 hours (but who's counting?). Pretty exciting... we should have the track to ourselves for the day. ![]() 800 metre track with one 150 metre straight ![]() My poster |

It hits the ground before anything else.

Your scooters are looking great Ebeth. I'm sure SGN Scott would have no problem with you 'adjusting' the exhaust as you said in the other thread.
A question that came up yesterday for you - did Danmotors cast their own cases? Someone argued that the only casting done was in Italy and India. |

That sucks, Nigel. I went through a layoff back in January. I got no notice, though, just walked with a shitty severance package.
In the long run, though, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. My new job pays better and I like it a hell of a lot better. Get the word out to everyone you know that you're looking for a new gig--word of mouth and personal referrals are the best (pretty much only, IMHO) way to find a new gig these days. I applied blindly to close to 100 jobs and got one interview, and that was for a job that would have required a move to the middle of nowhere. I worked my network, on the other hand, and got multiple interviews, including landing my current gig. |

Gutted for you, Nigel...happened to my Brother recently too.
I'm sure you'll be back on your feet soon though mate Bitz, I'm pretty sure I've got a spare panel rubber floating around if you need one...can't guarantee it'll fit though. |
