Isn't the motor in the black bike an auto? Just missing the side covers I think. Pretty cool.

Did you get that luggage rack thingy G? I like it.. It'd look good on my P or Super.. Kinda wish it didn't say Vespa. Razz emoticon. I have had many occassions I could have used a good solid platform to hold crap, as I don't have any other racks.

So back to my question.. You have it?

I had one for my GT200 modern. He at the time had to custom make me one that said "GT" he was making GTS & GTV ones. Now he makes them with cup holders! I customized mine and bolted a cup holder to it. Now they need to make small frame ones and I will order one for every scooter!

I like where you're going and think it aughta be filed away nicely.

I think I can find your rebuild thread for the black Super... from memory it's pages 179 - 202 of "Today I..."

I guess you've learned from your mistakes... now you're learnin' others!

That'll work fine for some scoots I have seen!

there are a range of these coming out, I suspect some will be quicker than 25mph, especially given the ones Ginch and I saw the other week.

that's rad Alan.. G told me about the warehouse.. and those are the good drones.. I've seen 'em race (on video) out in the woods like StarWars pod racers.. yeah you're right, they'll get faster.. and now w/ smaller cameras (even the new Gopro (Sessions version) is 1/2 the size of the original or current versions) (* but the picture quality isn't as good.. even at 1080p I saw an A/B comparison and it's not as good) BUT if small and waterproof (without an external case) are what you're after they're cool.

I'd just love to go do a canyon ride and have the drone follow and lead me through the twisties... have to be careful about getting it up above cars etc. ... or out somewhere where there are no cars it'd be cool to have footage w/o having to have an operator.

There's so much new phone cam and drone stuff coming out it's a blurr.. hard to keep up and keep track of what's what and what the latest greatest is because they're developing smaller and better so quickly..

Scooter races would be cool to do too with the drones.

Agreed. Also the time limit is a bit of an issue. But there would be some awesome footage of rides and great scenery. One day. Amazing how fast these are developing. Both camera based drones like the lily and the VR racing drones. So much potential there.

Is it only a matter of time before Facebook starts issuing these drones to subscribers so they can literally upload every second of their lives? Perhaps a topic for another forum.

today i woke up my stella166 and p200s running after sitting for two months (i just got back from vacation in italy)

stella is a little smokey. i got some gas and added 3% oil to the mix, ran it around, but while it started up with little problems, it felt like it was going to die if i slowed down when I ran it around the block. i upped the idle and went for a gas run. after getting gas it seemed to have worked through any bogging concerns.

p200 was more difficult. the carb slide link somehow disconnected from the throttle control arm. (http://members.modernvespa.net/frogman_94/uploads/carb_diagram_800.jpg), but i ended up pulling the slide out all the way which gave me enough leverage to re-prop the rod into the control arm without having to remove the carb. TravisNJ had this problem a few years back with it disconnecting while he rode, but I'd imagine it was just neighborhood kids fucking around on my bike as it sat on the sidewalk. pumped up the tires on the p2 (i've had a slow leak in my front tubeless for... years now), so I give it some air every month or two anyway.

Fock all!
I seized the polini210 ally kit on the ride home from work. 50-55 highway. It was nearly fully dialed in, so something must've changed (carb base loose, float bowl loose, flyside seal, exhaust leak, not sure yet)
No damage to the nicasil as far as I can see yet, just a wee bit of aluminum smeared.

Take it all apart this weekend.

Just terrible, I finally had this bike running sweet. I guess not sweet enough.

anyone know if a loose HT cap could cause overheating? The ngk cap pulled off when I checked the plug.

set up is:
polini 210 aluminum, custom cut crank (19mm), mmw head, vortex ver 1 24, 130 main, be3-160 mixer, sip road ver 1, bgm euro stator.

crap.

Damn. I feel your pain... been there too many times myself.

On my cast Polini 218 I ran a 150 main in the Vortex. What type cover do you have? Do you run a CHT guage? What colour is the plug?

The plug was cafe au lait, but not chocolate. The head was sooty.

I've been running this at 55 60 mph (95-105) since I brke it in about 100 miles ago.

The cover may be n issue. I put the T5 cover on but just had the bellows running to the frame, no filter.

Yes I'm sure it doesn't need as rich a jet without the big hole in the cover. Hope it cleans up ok for you.

Got a really nice pair of anniversary gifts from my wife.. She stoked me with a 3/8 & 1/2 drive digital torque wrench adaptors. They're pretty cool.

I have click and bar type but am looking foward to using these.

Think I'll try a test with the click type and see if they read the same.

Anyway it was a nice surprise.
