my ET3's got a similar (lower quality) seat on it. Meh, hangs over, but it works. I don't think it sticks out as much as we think when we stare straight at it

Swapped the "geared plate" part of the clutch for one in Callum's stash and all was good.
Yes I'm using the ball-bearing type pressure plate. Works... hopefully it'll stay put. |

Love it or hate it.. it's done..
I heated it up w/ a heat gun, pulled the fabric up, marked it, cut it w/ my angle grinder (easy to cut), pulled the fabric back down, cut off some excess, sprayed the back of the seat w/ 3M spray adhesive, and pulled it tightly so there are no kinks or wrinkles.. then I put the Aquila badge back on. Done. The entire process took less than 1 hour.. I was on a mission. It's very comfy, mostly because of where it puts my butt.. I'll be interested to see where I'd be sitting on the small frame version when I get it tomorrow. I'm a little bummed I spent the money on the small frame version because personally I'm really loving how it turned out... and there aint another one out there like it.. at least I've never seen anyone do it. A touch of Lambretta style on the Small Frame.

Took guts to chop that seat up V... not sure I could have done it. Definitely a different look. Is there room to stash a bottle or something up there in the back now?

John, B... I came up w/ that bag a couple years ago, and had it sewn together by a friend who does really good upholstery work... |

Holy crap.. I was just driving in to work, and a motorcycle cop zoomed up next to me out of nowhere.. I had just picked up my phone, my office was calling.. I dropped the phone in my lap put my hands at 10 & 2 and just looked forward.. he stayed right next to my passenger window for 2 blocks and blocked me from my left turn into my office street.. so I just waited and went down the next street..
I don't usually talk on phone while driving but it was work and I figured it was some king of fire to be put out.. figuratively.. I need to get the hands-free installed in my car but it's 600 bucks that was so damn close.. they're out in major force today.. |

They are decent enough. The old man has one. Cos its not hard wired he can take it from his car to the rig so handy. Noise cancelling too. Grand yoke for the money

Speaking of seats.. The small frame version of that same Ancillotti seat was delivered today, but it wasn't delivered to ME! Arghhh. I have the shipper looking into it. tracking said it was out for deliver most of the day then it changed to Delivered.. but it didn't go to either my home or office. USPS FTW! Again!

This is about as far around back as I have now, I'll take a tight shot of the rear after work.. I put a nice black hole plug in the hole where the usual seat post screws in.
