Does it latch closed anymore Vader?
My seat post has been out the whole time I've owned mine. I'm about ready to put it back in now .

Ok.. I got the new seat.. it's a beauty and will fit really nicely.. now I just have to decide whether or not to cut it too.. I may try it 1st w/o then cut it.. I think it would really make the Perfect cutback.. then I'll use the other one on the super.. I have to recuperate from cutting the 1st one..
![]() The bracket that comes w/ the small frame version doesn't fit my bike though OF COURSE because it's the early frame.. it's more for ET3 and Primis.. but that doesn't bother me, I don't need to use it anyway.. I just let the seat rest on the rubber buffers.. they sit lower that way anyway.. too many choices now. I'm gonna ride this one for a while. but again, the new one is damn nice too.. and it is shorter.. I have high hopes for it, as is.. or cut like I did the Sprint/Super version. I was gonna put it on, but I held it up next to the bike and can see it's going to fit nicely.. they're very nice seats.. I've no regrets.. and the one on my Super still looks new after a couple/few thousand miles.. very well made. |

I was making some adjustments to my wiring and emptied out the glovebox where I have my battery... noticed something stuck in the corner with the rest of the grime. Guess what it was?
![]() It's not meant to work like that. Normally to find your old thing you need to buy a new one. At which point the old one turns up. |

Today I realized that after a rebuild the Lambretta won't go into 4th gear. It simply does not exist. Bloody marvelous that is.
