What kind of box do GTV 300IE owners use on the front?
The clip for the rear rack does not fit the front.
So if I put anything on the front I have to use a mini bungee cord to
hold the tensioned part of the rack down, and then more to hold the item to the rack..

Front Carrier
I've found nylon tie strips work really good for holding the rack down...they can just be cut off when not needed.

+1 on the elastic cord to secure anything.

I use zip ties. Cargo net to hold stuff on the rear rack and bungee cords. I have a clap to use for the rear rack and use the zip ties instead.

I use a Velcro strap to hold down the front rack on my LXV. It works very well for me.

I simply cut off the right length from a roll like this: http://www.amazon.com/VELCRO-U-S-A-Velcro-12-Feet-VEK90340/dp/B000078CUB/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1400950441&sr=8-3&keywords=Velcro+strap

Use can always get re-useable zip ties to hold it down. I always keep a few zip ties in my tool pouch. If you get the re-usable type you down need to cut them off each time you want the rack folded into the upright position. Velcro straps would also do the trick.

I have a top case, and have not found anything I want to strap to the front yet.

Groceries:

8 plastic bags and a 12 roll of TP:

2 bags (dairy and frozen) in the top box.

2 bags (cans etc) under the seat.

2 bags (bread and light boxes) Hanging from the clip.

2 Bags in a plastic storage box attached to front rack with bungee cords.

TP bungee cord down on the passenger seat..

I love it when people in the grocery store parking lot watch me using my imagination to fit everything on the bike.. And they are amazed, when I do!
I even had a lass with a crotch rocket impressed at the storage under the seat....
