I've had my BV350 for almost four weeks, and logged 1007 miles... Outside of scootering to work everyday, I can't stop riding it...! Every night I can't wait to ride it the next day... On weekends it the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing in the evening...

Will the constant desire to ride the BV350 ever wear off?

How long did it take, time/miles before it was just another vehicle...?

I'm coming from Buddy 170, so I was somewhat limited to just my county, now I can go anywhere I want... And loving it very much...!

I also can't stop looking at it, but I'm weird that way...

Having a vehicle that is confidence inspiring and fun makes it a joy to use; not weird at all,

Perfectly normal
I'm sure the rest of the inmates of this particular asylum will agree, what you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Enjoy it!

I finally get it..
I just bought mine today. First ride on any two wheeler - bicycle aside - in my 30 years of life. I have to say I finally get it; I'm beyond hooked.

Kinda crazy putting that much money down on something I've never even tried before, but for some reason, when I saw that bike, I just knew. And boy, was I right!

Nope - it's not odd at all.

My BV500 makes me giddy.

If that's your first ride on two wheels, you might want to look for a Motorcycle Safety Course in your area. They will teach you skills that you really don't want to have to learn "the hard way." And you get to use their bikes to practice. Much preferred in case of dropping it.

And welcome to this Center of Addiction. To both of you.

Thanks...

I rode with a friend through Pala Ca on Lilac Rd to Lake Henshaw, and rode 76 back to San Marcos.

I saw the guy on the side of 76 taking pics. I found his website, and copied the pic...

Let me know if you ever want to go riding...

Actually, it's not... I had a Buddy 170i for roughly a year, and rode trails on dirt bikes when I was teenager into early 20's...

I do plan on take the MSC in San Deigo, but it's a bit pricey...

The desire to ride will never wear off. Get used to it!

It will never be "just another vehicle," it will become your pride and joy and you will look for excuses to ride.

The beauty never fades.

I am constantly asking my wife if she needs me to run to the store to pick anything up just so I have an excuse to go out an ride.

Addictive does not describe it.

I got that you have some previous riding experience. But theirishcreme, who slipped in here, has NO previous riding time, so I was making the suggestion to him, because he may not know about the courses. OTOH, it's good that you are planning to make the move. Don't delay.

No your not.The other day i rode down the coast to a friends house for a big b'day bash. Poor scooter sat out in the rain ( bad storm came in and it rained very hard) and it made me sad. Wanted to bring it inside. I think of it like it's my kid not a scooter. Wha? emoticon Laughing emoticon
