As promised, here is a pic of my GTS. I've had it for almost two months now and it's running even better.
Hi there! How are you getting on with your scooter? I'll be taking the VA MSF course to get my DC endorsement this month before I purchase my scooter. I'm in the district as well, NW. Have you all had any issues with security? That's one of my biggest concerns. Did you purchase at Vespa of Arlington? Sorry to bombard you with questions!

Welcome. welcome. I grew up in and around DC and except for the bitter cold in the Winter and the humidity in the Summer-it's a pretty cool spot to be traveling on a Vespa. Ride safe and keep your eyes out for those crazy DC drivers-especially in all those circles. There are so many cool neighborhoods to explore and it doesn't take too long (quick ride out of the city) to find some country roads to wind through. The Skyline Drive isn't too far South and you get to roll through horse country! Going North towards Frederick and Gettysburg is cool and the coast is close too!

Enjoy the bike and be safe. Sounds like you have a great plan to become an experienced rider.

Greetings - I lived in (and still own) a place in Springfield, VA. The DC Metro area has to be a crazy place to ride, with all the traffic! Be careful out there!

PECH thanks. I have a rear rack that folds up. So i have extra lights on my plate holder that are synched with my brakes. When i have the rear rack down and junk on it,it's hard to see my brake light. Hope your still rocking your scooter and thanx for the pic. 8)
